Berries Crumble with Supertums Berries Oats
This easy, no-fuss Berries Crumble is made with Supertums Berries Oats and fresh berries. Naturally sweetened and packed with gut-friendly fiber, it's the perfect dessert or snack that supports your digestion and satisfies your sweet tooth.
🍓 Ingredients
- 2 cups mixed berries (fresh – strawberries, blueberries)
- 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ¾ cup Supertums Berries Oats
- ¼ cup Supertums Oat flour
- 2 tbsp coconut oil (chilled)
- 1 tbsp chopped nuts or seeds (optional, for crunch like walnuts, pecans, chia, pumpkin, or sunflower seeds)
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, toss berries with lemon juice, maple syrup, and cornstarch. Pour into a small baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix Supertums Berries Oats, oat flour, cinnamon, salt, and chopped nuts (if using).
- Add cold coconut oil and rub it into the mixture with your fingers until it becomes crumbly.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the berries.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
- Let cool slightly and serve warm or chilled. Pairs well with dairy-free yogurt or banana nice cream.
