Banana Peanut Butter Oats Bars

 

A crunchy, naturally sweet, IBS-friendly granola perfect for breakfast or snacking!

 

🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 packet Supertums Banana and Vanilla oats
  • 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
     
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter (melted)
       
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or jaggery (optional, for added sweetness)
      
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional: Dark chocolate chips

👩🍳 Instructions

 
  • Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
      
  • In a bowl, mash bananas until smooth.

  • In a bowl, mix everything until oats are fully coated.
     
  • Spread the mixture evenly on the baking tray.
      
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until golden and crisp.
  • Cool completely before storing in an airtight jar.

🍓 Optional Toppings (Add after baking)

  • Dried cranberries or raisins

  • Toasted coconut flakes

  • Chia seeds or sunflower seeds 

  • Roasted almonds or pecans (for non-IBS-sensitive guts)
