Sweet Oats Kheer

A light, festive oats kheer, comforting after Dussehra. Ready in 15 minutes. Serve warm or chilled.

Ingredients (2 servings)

  • 2 pack Supertums Overnight Oats - Berries
  • 2 cups milk (or almond milk)
  • 2–3 tsp jaggery powder (optional)
  • 2 cardamom pods, crushed
  • 1 tsp ghee (optional)
  • Few saffron strands (optional)
  • 5–6 almonds & cashews, chopped
  • 1 tsp raisins

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a pan; roast oats 1–2 minutes until aromatic.
  2. Add milk and bring to a gentle boil; stir to avoid sticking.
  3. Add jaggery and stir until dissolved.
  4. Mix in crushed cardamom and saffron; simmer 5–7 minutes until thick.
  5. Add chopped nuts and raisins; simmer 1 more minute.
  6. Serve warm or chill and serve cold.

Tip: Substitute jaggery with honey after cooling for a milder sweetness.
