A light, festive oats kheer, comforting after Dussehra. Ready in 15 minutes. Serve warm or chilled.
Ingredients (2 servings)
- 2 pack Supertums Overnight Oats - Berries
- 2 cups milk (or almond milk)
- 2–3 tsp jaggery powder (optional)
- 2 cardamom pods, crushed
- 1 tsp ghee (optional)
- Few saffron strands (optional)
- 5–6 almonds & cashews, chopped
- 1 tsp raisins
Method
- Heat ghee in a pan; roast oats 1–2 minutes until aromatic.
- Add milk and bring to a gentle boil; stir to avoid sticking.
- Add jaggery and stir until dissolved.
- Mix in crushed cardamom and saffron; simmer 5–7 minutes until thick.
- Add chopped nuts and raisins; simmer 1 more minute.
- Serve warm or chill and serve cold.
