📝 Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Supertums Cacao Oats (soaked in warm water or milk for 15 mins)
  • 1 1/2 cups lactose-free cream (or coconut cream)
  • 1/2 cup lactose-free milk (or almond milk)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup (low-FODMAP sweetener)
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or almonds — low-FODMAP portion)
  • Pinch of salt

👩🍳 Instructions

  1. Blend soaked Supertums Cacao Oats with lactose-free milk until smooth.
  2. In a saucepan, heat cream, maple syrup, cacao powder, vanilla, and salt over low heat, stirring until well combined.
  3. Stir in the blended oat mixture and let cool completely.
  4. Chill mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  5. Churn in an ice cream maker according to instructions (or freeze in a container, whisking every 30 minutes until creamy).
  6. Fold in chopped nuts before the final freeze.
  7. Freeze until firm (4–6 hours) and scoop to serve.
